Overview

Corporate secretary, Shirotani Tadaomi suffers from an unusually strong case of mysophobia, a fear of germs. Helping the company president after an accident, Shirotani meets a psychotherapist, Riku Kurose who takes an interest in his form of obsessive-compulsive disorder and offers to help him through a ten-step program to help with the compulsion. As they progress through each of the ten steps, Shirotani wonders how Kurose was able to tell, he also finds his attraction to him growing. A manga written by Rihito Takarai and published by Shinshokan in Dear+ magazine. Ten Count has been translated and published into English by Viz Media's SuBlime imprint. It has so far has two million copies of the manga in print. It has also been adapted into a mobile game and an anime adaption is also being produced scheduled for a 2023 release. It is one of six anime chosen for the 6 Lovers OVA special.
